Extortion means to force people to relinquish their money or goods through bullying, terror, intimidation, abuse of power, or blackmail. Extortion can happen outside or near schools.

Did you Know it?

According to The National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center Survey (2006), almost 7% of students said they had missed at least one day of school in the last month because they felt unsafe at school or when travelling to or from school – an increase of 50% from 1993.
