Obesity means an excess of body fat which results in at least 20 percent overweight compared to the normal body mass. It is often associated with poor eating habits that start in early childhood and is also linked to a sedentary lifestyle.
Bulimia is often linked to depression, and is an eating disorder characterized by episodes of binge-eating when an individual eats to excess, after which the person will make themselves throw up, or abuse laxatives or diuretics.
